The stained glass transoms above the majority of the doors in the home were custom made. Stained glass transoms were customary in Victorian homes, adding elegance throughout the home. The windows for the four upstairs bedrooms were designed with input from the children who helped with color selection for their individual bedrooms. Here are a few of the transoms--original, custom stained glass windows featuring beveled glass and brass soldering.
