Cherry custom cabinetry from floor to ceiling with cherry crown molding contrast the light hard wood flooring. The cabinets are taller than the standard at 38" putting the counter-tops higher and reducing bending over as you work.
Appliances include dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, and a double oven. The double oven makes events like Thanksgiving much easier and organized.
A highlight for households with young children is the water fountain, strategically placed by the back door so you won't have to go through your entire stock of cups when they get thirsty.Another feature we enjoy is the under-cabinet lighting. Whether an alternative to dimming the lights or adding additional light to your counter-top workspace, we utilize this additional lighting often.
The majority of the work performed in the kitchen is done at the expansive island. Seven swiveling/ suspended seats make sweeping and mopping a breeze. A large custom trash drawer across from the sink serves is very convenient garbage can concealed behind the beautiful cherry cabinetry.
The back-splash throughout the kitchen is white tile with a border of braided forest green. Coordinating in the counter-tops, we also find white with a border of forest green on the edges. The counters are Corian, offering a nonporous surface that is heat resistant, easy to clean and impenetrable by mold, mildew and bacteria. Scratches and stains in the counters can be removed with sand paper and all joints in the counters appear virtually seamless. We have loved this versatile counter-top. 
The kitchen sink has seamless transition to the counter-tops making it easier to keep it clean. An extra large and deep right side holds the garbage disposal and the convenient instant hot water and distilledwater dispensers. Distilled water is also available in the ice and water from the refrigerator door. A desk area makes a transition from the kitchen to the rest of the house as a convenient workspace for all the hustle and bustle of a family.
